Brand Redesign

Working with Brown-Forman on redesign is the best challenge and reward.
The goal is to take designer's idea from a concept to a CGI digital image. The imagery is used to warrant the actual development of the product. Illustrator files are provided, and a die line is fleshed out. Great care is taken to the color, material texture, and embossing that the designer wants to convey. Their vision is translated using 3D software and Photoshop.
Communication back and forth with designers is a large portion at this stage. Changing PMS colors, adjusting embossing and switching out textures are some of the flexibility a 3D program can give. The end result is an image that the designer is confident with.This process saves time, allowing the concept to be visualized. This unlocks the possibilities, and intention of the brand before any physical package is made.

Brand Management

Brand managers strive to bring consistency throughout the product line. There can be discrepancies between design, pre-press, print, and digital images. An example of this is cutbacks to color in artwork, to allow gains at the printing press. Flexo and offset have different treatments and this was showing on the digital files.The brand manager for All wanted a cohesive look across the whole brand, not just one family line. After meeting with and addressing this concern, I was able to confirm a logo to be used as the true standard.The logo was applied, ensuring seamless consistency for the brand throughout all digital imagery

Brand Standards

"Nestle 2017 year-end IMPACT scorecard was the highest score ever received and marked the first time the company landed in the “Excellent” category."The goal as always was to meet expectations on time and with high quality. Working with the Customer Service Representatives as a lead artist, I delegated work across the CGI department.We teamed with other divisions for supplied imagery. I oversaw the quality control of packaging artwork coming into our department. In an effort to sustain quality and improve timing, clean master scenes were set up.This allowed other artists to contribute by streamlining quick repeatable turn around. Our 2017 revenue was up and our overall quality and service were excellent.By holding to tight deadlines and consistency within the Brand, my team was able to help land a renewal of the complete NESTLE brand.

Collaboration

BJ warehouse tasked us with creating a informative video to help launch its two unified store brands, Berkley and Jensen, and Wellsley Farms.My team and I collaborated with members of BJ warehouse and CBX, agency.The primary goal was to communicate with designers at CBX, confirming construction of the videos design.Taking imagery, video clips and animations provided by the agency and fellow CGI coworkers, I edited and created content for the project.The end result was a video that told the message of the consolidation of two brands within the store. It was shown across BJ locations to inform customers of the exciting new direction.
